Duties and Tasks
Requirements
Will have the authority to act according to the authority given to them by the board which will be
communicated to the individual in writing and shall have all the rights, powers, and privileges and limitations liability of directors of a non-profit corporation organized under the Non-Profit Corporation Act.

Contribute to the establishment of policies and directives governing business and programs

Attend board meetings regularly

Elect officers

Review board meeting agenda and make contributions prior to meetings

Must not miss more than three consecutive board meetings

Must donate $1,000 a year monetarily or in-kind donations that would equate to any service you provide OR dedicate 50 hours of your time per year (in addition to board meetings)

Must love Jesus

Must be active in your faith

Must review the board meeting agenda and add written input prior to the meeting as a contribution to decisions

Must be 18 years of age

Must have completed an application for the board (click here)

Must have signed a statement of faith

Ability to lead a structured and organized meeting

Ability to lead with Paw in Hand Project’s vision and mission always being at the forefront of proceedings

Ability to make choices and decisions that honor and recognize all people as people of God.

Attend trauma informed care trainings to better understand the people that we serve and the methods in which we serve them
-
Support from fellow board members at and in between scheduled meetings of the board

You are a part of making decisions that can change the lives of people in need. You get to be on the board of a non-profit that is unique in its cause.

You help maintain the connection between people and their pets.

You will be on the board of an organization that is faith based.

You shall have all the rights, powers, and privileges and limitations liability of directors of a non-profit corporation organized under the Non-Profit Corporation Act.
